Fort Financial Announces 2025 Scholarship Program Recipients

Zoey Kingsolver, Tavin Ray and Dayla Wright selected as recipients of the 2025 Fort Financial Scholarship Program.

Zoey is a 2025 Bishop Dwenger High School graduate. She excelled academically graduating with an impressive 4.56 grade-point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale, earning a top-five placement in her class. While involved in multiple extracurricular activities, Zoey demonstrated Fort Financial’s core value of “people helping people” by volunteering for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul where she built wheelchair ramps, decks, stairs and other household accessibility structures for those financially and physically in need. In the fall, Zoey will be attending Clemson University and studying Mechanical Engineering.

Tavin graduated from Churubusco High School in 2024 as valedictorian and will be entering his second year at the University of Notre Dame, where he is majoring in finance with a minor in real estate. While continuing to achieve academic excellence in South Bend, his involvement beyond school has continued through his first year of college, where he invests time in clubs that align with his academic path while working part-time. One of Tavin’s biggest learning experiences came from launching his own woodworking business, where his entrepreneurial and philanthropic spirit shined the brightest from donating 10% of all sales to local non-profit veteran organizations.

Dayla is a rising sophomore at the University of Mississippi majoring in Pharmaceutical Sciences with plans to become a Pharmacist. Her career choice is sparked by a desire to be a future solution to those in medical need. She graduated third in her class from Biggersville High School in 2024, where she competed in cheerleading and volleyball. The Corinth, Mississippi native earned Academic All-State Honors on the volleyball court and was a team captain for the cheerleading squad. She is currently a member of the University of Mississippi Honor Society and was a Pharmacy Student Ambassador during the 2024-25 academic year. In addition to academics and extracurricular activities, Dayla's recommendation letters spoke to her dedication, compassion, and resilience as an individual.
